The brief
The client approached Kotak Design to transform their home into a refined yet welcoming environment that could support modern family life while reflecting their values and achievements. They desired a strong architectural presence, fluid spatial flow and an elevated sense of luxury without compromising warmth. The design needed to accommodate entertaining, private family time and cultural rituals within a cohesive aesthetic language. Materials were to feel premium and enduring, with carefully curated textures and lighting to create depth and atmosphere. Above all, the home was to embody a sense of legacy — contemporary in execution, yet timeless in spirit — offering both prestige and comfort in equal measure.
Scope of Work
Kotak Design provided full interior architectural design, spatial refinement and detailed coordination from concept through developed design. Our scope included material direction, bespoke joinery design, lighting strategy, feature staircase design, bathroom concepts and curated FF&E selections. We delivered comprehensive drawing packages and coordinated design & procurement to ensure the design intent was carried through seamlessly into construction.
